Add a calculated column to your date table, that indicates whether the date belongs to the current month. Then filter on that column.

9 years agoAngel You need to leverage Group BY and Summarize functions of DAX. So assuming you have Month column and Amount column, you can create new calculated table.

9 years agoankitpatira Maybe I haven´t explained the issue well.
I have the columns you mentioned before. The thing I want to do is showing total amount of the current month in a dashboard. If the month changes, the dashboard have to change the month 'automatically' without user interaction.
