Add a calculated column to your date table, that indicates whether the date belongs to the current month. Then filter on that column.

Angel You need to leverage Group BY and Summarize functions of DAX. So assuming you have Month column and Amount column, you can create new calculated table.

ankitpatira Maybe I haven´t explained the issue well.
I have the columns you mentioned before. The thing I want to do is showing total amount of the current month in a dashboard. If the month changes, the dashboard have to change the month 'automatically' without user interaction.
