Subtract Leaves from FTE Count

Hi,

I was hoping someone could help.  I`m pretty new to DAX and I`m struggling with a measure.  I have a measure 'FTE Count' which is calculating how many employees were working in each month in selected year. For that I am using my employee table which contains employee id, joining date and termination date and now I have a table with all of the leaves taken by the employees over the years which I want to subtract from my FTE Count. Can anybody please help me wtih that. Thanks.
