Stumped by Simple Calculated column - if statement with variant types text and number

Does anyone know how to do this excel formula in DAX?

 

= if ([Text Column] = "Alpha",[Number Column]*8,"")

    Hey all, I was being a little slow. Long day. ContainsString() and blank() fixed this
