Slicer not Working Properly on CALCULATEDTABLE Measure

How do slicers work on CALCULATEDTABLES? I calculated a table of 2 columns: email and feature_type. I am able to slice the emails linked to other categories but unable to slice feature_types linked to other columns based on the shared feature_type. Is dynamic filtering restricted for virtual tables?
