Hi Team, I have an important query:
I have below dataset and i also have a date dimension table which has data up till year 2040, which is connect to this fact table. I have calculated Total Sales using the below dax:
I am trying to plot this in the line chart below. I have checked the mark where it says "Show Items with no data". However, on the x axis, it is still showing those 4 years. ideally it should show all the years presented in the date dimension table.
Could you please help me understand, what is it that i am missing?

I am pretty sure it is because your field "year" is data type "whole number".
Change it to text, and then choose "show items with no data".
I just tested this, and it worked for me
It seems like the issue is with this chart type only. Bcose stacked column chart displays all the years without converting the years to categorical type in the visual. Thank you
