Sales progression % comparing with YTD and YTD last year

Hello,
I would like to retrieve the SALES profites from last year comparing with the same YTD period.

I have my total YTD by vendors with this measure :
Total YTD = CALCULATE(SUM('Dashboard'[Cost USD]),
DATESYTD ( Dashboard[Report Period] ))

I have my YTD contribution:
YTD Contribution % = DIVIDE([Total YTD],CALCULATE([Total YTD],ALLSELECTED('Dashboard')))*100

How can i compare last year same periode Progression % [Cost USD] ? And can it give negative percent values ?

Thanks a lot ! But a question, why you force dates ? If you find null/empty values ?

Total YTD = CALCULATE(SUM('Dashboard'[Cost USD]),
DATESYTD (dateadd( Dashboard[Report Period] ,-1,year)))

also remember these option to force dates
