SUM if date greater than (sum using the date column from a fact table as the start date for the sum)

Hi there,

This is probably very simple, and is kind the reverse of YTD. I have one data table with values and date column linked to an overall date table / column. I'd like do a sum, but use the date in each row of the main table as the start date for the sum.

So something like sum values where value(date)>=datetable(date). I have tried a number of sumx / calculate combinations but all are throwing errors.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

Have also tried the dates in between function using the value(date) as the start date but this doesnt seem to work either.

Thanks,
