Modifying my post

Hi Guys, Can you help me with a DAX query for the below SQL statement?

SQL query

select fact.ID from fact left join DIM on FACT.Id=DIM.ID and DIM.ID is null

I am using a live connection hence I am not able to write a SQL query just like how we do in import mode

It sounds like you may be able to use EXCEPT... something like this:

EXCEPT(SUMMARIZE('Fact', Fact[ID]), SUMMARIZE(DIM, DIM[ID]))

You indicated the result you expected was Fact ID = 3, but based on your SQL, I think you meant to return the 1 value. Is that right?

@Anonymous - Can you backup and explain what you are trying to achieve? Please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

What you are trying to do might better be accomplished in Power Query. For example, you should be able to paste your SQL code into a Power Query query and import the table exactly as you want. Failing that, there are functions like NATURALINNERJOIN in DAX but it would be more useful to present your source data and expected output versus SQL code.
