Return value in Column 2 if column 1 is equal to ...

Hello,

 

I wonder if you might be able to help. I am trying to work out a way in PowerBi to return the result in the yellow column below...such as...if the "type" is an employee return a value of zero but if the "type" is a contractor turn the value in the "hours" column.

Hi @sean123,

It's an easy one - you can solve your case with a calculation column like this:

Contractor Hours = IF ( [Type] = "Contractor", [Hours], 0 )
