Good day, hope you can help me with the following.
I'm having probles updating my PBI, i'm getting the "not enough memory" while updating, form everything i have read it has to do with a few calculted columns i have added to a table, let call it C. Now i´m trying to replace the calculated columns with calculated measures but i'm not getting the result i need.
I have a table A that has the columns Date, Year, Month, Hour, Unit, Generation, I have a table B that has the columns Date, Year, Month, Hour, Unit, Generation, the same as table A, and I have a Table C that has the columns Date, Year, Month, Unit, Generation and type of remuneration, I want to make a calculated measure in table C , I want the measure to take the average of the generation column of table A and Table B but that takes the average of one or the other depending on the value of the Remuneration Type column of Table C, the Remuneration Type column is of type text, how can i do this?
thanks in advance
Before you do that ask yourself - can the result be impacted by users interacting with your reports? If the answer is no, and the data is immutable, then you should not use a measure. If a calculated column is too slow or consumes too much memory then either optimize its code, or push it upstream and create that column in Power Query.
