Refresh time issue

Do you guys typically add a card that shows the last time the data was refreshed?

I had created a seperate table called lastrefreshtime and have a column using this code

= DateTime.LocalNow()

 I just noticed when I use automatic refresh it switches the time to utc which I assume is b/c the microsoft server that is handling the sync is in utc. Is there any way to make it just use eastern time zone? or maybe I just add a utc label next to so users aren't confused.

"Last Refresh Time"  is largely meaningless. Power BI will happily "refresh" your stale data over and over again.

Better use a date from your fact table, like "Max Order Create Date"  to indicate data freshness.

@alex20p

Just keep DateTime.LocalNow() as-is and add a label next to it saying "(UTC)" to avoid confusion for users.

Example: Last Refreshed: 2025-04-24 18:32 (UTC)

@alex20p can you also give a kudos by pressing the like button.
