RankX() function not available when creating a new calculated column with variable

Hi Daer Community,

I am trying to rank a column based on its count in anothercolumn. But the rankx() function is not available there.

Top5 cases & Others =
Var RankProductsByCaseCount = rankx() - it says "rankx() is not a function" .

Any tips why?

Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Which connection mode you are using?

RANKX() function is not supported for use in DirectQuery mode when used in calculated columns or row-level security (RLS) rules.
