QTD Measure Calculation For Fiscal Year Starting From February

Hi All,

In my project, I calculated the Total Sales QTD with respect to calendar year. It was working fine. But there was a request to switch it to Fiscal Year. Our Fiscal Year Starts on February 1st and Ends on January 31st.

For Total Cases QTD, Im not sure how to make this work in measures.

Q1-> Feb to Apr

Q2-> May to July

Q3->Aug to Oct

Q4->Nov to Jan

I have used the below 2 formulas, but its not working

1st Formula:

Total Sales QTD =

CALCULATE([Total Sales],DATESYTD('Calendar'[Calendar Date],"01/31"))
This literally works like a YTD. When Feb month comes,it is getting started from the start but it then it goes on till next January.

 

2nd Formula:

Total Sales = TOTALYTD(

TOTALQTD([Total Sales],'Calendar'[Calendar Date]),'Calendar'[Calendar Date],"01/31")

 

This is partially working. This formula considers Jan-Mar as 1 quarter, Apr to Jun as 1 quarter and so on. 

Is there a way to modify this formula so that it the total sales gets reset whenever it reaches Feb and then it should again reset when it starts from May and then reset when it starts from August and then reset when it starts from Nov.

 

Been stuck with this for some time. Can somebody help with this?
