Hi,
Can I know the method for edit the column value for selected row and update using PowerBI Visuals?
Here's a general approach:
Data Model: Ensure your data model is set up properly with the necessary relationships between tables.
Data Entry Table: Create a separate table that allows users to input or edit data. This table should be linked to your main data table through relationships.
Card Visuals: Use card visuals to display the values you want to edit. Users can then click on the card to edit the underlying data.
Bookmarks and Buttons: Use bookmarks and buttons to create a flow that guides users through the editing process. When they click on a card to edit, you can use a bookmark to navigate them to a page with the data entry table and related information.
Custom Visuals or Extensions: Explore custom visuals or extensions that may provide more advanced editing features. Some third-party visuals might offer in-cell editing capabilities.
Power Apps Integration: Consider integrating Power Apps within your Power BI report. Power Apps allows for more interactive and customizable forms for data entry. You can embed a Power Apps form within your Power BI report.
Please note that Power BI is continuously evolving, and new features are added with each release. Always check the latest documentation and community forums for any updates on this feature or new custom visuals that might provide the functionality you're looking for.
