Hi, first of all please check where are you posting. This is the DAX Command and Tips forum and that is for Power Bi Desktop.

The updates can be automatically download if you install Desktop from Microsoft Store (you need windows 10). Another way is to download the Power Bi desktop googling it every month that the tool with notify you there is an update.
