Solution SpecialistYou can adjust the timeout period for this connection in PBI Desktop.
You might also consider applying incremental refresh if you are not using it yet... this should significantly speed up the refresh process
HI Mohammad_Refaei does this setting carry over when we publish to Service? We're connecting to an on-prem SQL Server using a Gateway.
