Hi Power Bi community,
I have two sources of data one is SQL database and another is a excel file.
I have created a measure which calculates the sum of three columns two from sql database and 1 column from excel.
the measure that i have created is in the sql table so created a relationship between sql table and excel table with the index column.
I have selected the stacked and line chart visual and I placed the mesaure in the Y axis and on the X axis is the date and timestamp and group, group is i have made two groups power1, power2.
the issue is all the three columns appear as stack column in the visual but my requirement is two should be in stack and the other column should in the cluster(adjacent to it) for the same timestamp. when i drill down to per day then it is as per my requirement. why it doesn't show the same for per hour as well And when i select two days in the slicer it sums up and shows the data but I want per day data individually when i select more than 1 day.
I created a template with the sample data it worked. but when i trying to create with the actual data, i am facing this issue.
I have attached few screenshots for clear understanding.
please suggest a solution.
Thanks,
Ibrahim.
Hi @Ibrahim_shaik ,
You can try Visual Objects : Stacked Bar Chart with Line by JTA.
It improves clustered bar charts by stacking one of the bars. Blending the simplicity of traditional bar charts with the versatility of stacked bar charts, it revolutionises the way multiple datasets are presented in a single, coherent display.
If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Hi @Anonymous ,
I added this visual from the AppSource Visuals.
When I add the data to this Visual, I can only see the legend and no stacked bar clustered data.
Can you please try this visual and let me know whether it works or not.
Thanks,
Ibrahim.
Hi @Anonymous,
Thank you so much for the reply.
I will apply this to my data and will let you know.
Thanks.
