New Column with Only Distinct Values from Another Column
In my table I have a column, Day Count, that has number of days, with a given number potentially repeating ex. 36, 45, 23, 36. I want to create a new column, Distinct Day Count, that only stores the first time a value is mentioned to look something like the following: 36, 45, 23, (blank). What DAX function should I use for this new column?

Solution = if(RANKX(ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[Marks]),CALCULATE(min('Table'[Name])),,,Dense) > 1,"",SUM('Table'[Marks]))

You can try create a new table via
new table = UNION( VALUES( 'Table'[Another column] ), {""})
Pbix in the end you can refer.
