Month and year Separate column compare current and previous year value

  my data set like below we have enter the March  Month value in   Apirl and April  Month  value enter May month like below 

Month          Period                    Values 

March        01-04-2019                45
April           01-05-2019               23
May           01-06-2019               23

...

....

...

August      01-09-2021               23

Sep           15-09-2021               34

last upto now entered value  sep 15 data . how to current year (2021 ) compare to previous year (2020) based Month and year (period)  any idea ..thanks in advance .

You can use SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR in your measure to find the value in the same month last year.
