I am new to PowerBI and trying to understand why my data shows incorrectly for the current time period. If I check previous weeks, months, quarters it pulls correctly, if I check the current week or current month the metrics skyrockets. See attached photo the numbers spike for the current week. However, if I check this after the week has closed it will show correctly. trying to understand why the timeframe must be closed? The data is being refreshed daily so most current data is there. The metric is summing hours worked so there is no reason it would go from high to low as it is pulling from timesheets off a server.
