Measure creates cartesian
Hi,
I have two fact tables in my model. They are both joined in the model. in FactTable1, I have a count and several YTD measures. When I drag in keys from Factable1 and FactTable2, all looks good. The moment I drag the measure from FactTable1, the numbers of rows is multiplied, I guess it is creating a cartesian product. I guess something is wrong with the measure. For example, I have Countx(TableName,ColumnName). Does anyone know what is going wrong here. I really appreciate all the help. Thank you folks!

From the what you have written my guess is you have multiple key columns (which ideally would all be joined), but only one of them has active relationship, which results in the multiplied numbers. You can workaround it with TREATAS, have a look here:
