Hello!
I am attempting to multiply a measure by a calculated column and am having issues.
I have a measure [Total Units Sold], and a feild called ELC.
Total Units Sold = SUM( [QTY Sold] )
ELC is a static numerical value which is pulled in and related to my SKUs.
Within my product table this value is pulled in from a related table: ELC = Related ( [ 'dELC'[ELC] )
I am attempting to simply take the Total Units Sold and multiply this by the ELC value. Sounds simple, might be.. but It's not working for me as expected.
When I attempt to create a new measure and multiple the two values the ELC field is not being populated within the formula bar (See phots).
Is there a reason for this? Is there a way I can do the calculation I am attempting?
Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

Hi @AlexAlberga727 ,
Measure expectes you to use some kind of aggregation (sum, min, max, first...), it can't accept original column value when combining with another measure.
In order to make it work, use sumx function. It allows you to multiply amount with another column.
Here is a nice explanation: https://exceleratorbi.com.au/use-sum-vs-sumx/
