Matrix with drill down : Display certain rows based on slicer selection

I have a matrix table with level 2 , level 3 and level 4 in rows with drilldown option enabled, (Expand to next level using +icon) and product in column and Total in values, added a columnn BG in slicer.

The ask is :

  • If i select value A from the slicer i want level 2 and level3 values should display and level 4 should not be displayed in the matrix row. Level 2 should drill down to level 3.

  • If i select value B from the slicer i want level 3 and 4 should display and level 2 should not be displayed in the matrix row.

Level 3 should drilldown to level 4.

Quick Snapshot of the visual.

Please help me. Any solution with calculated columns or measures works

Hi @swasim ,

I'm afraid this may not be possible, but you could consider designing options A and B as two separate navigation buttons. Each button would navigate to different screens: one displaying a visual with LV2 and LV4, and the other displaying a visual with LV3 and LV4.

Best Regards,
