Matrix Table : Get total for text column and switch off other column

I have this matrix table below, which the Transaction currency and Base Currency are both in text, that was created via formatted measure that I combined the currency symbols and bracket the amount. I wish to get the total for these 2 columns in the matrix (see below) and also switch off the Exchange rate total. Is this feasible?  Thanks.

Change the datatype to number and, if required, define your own custom format on the model tab.
