Hi All,
Hope all is well. I am new to power BI and having a problem which I think is probably a simple mistake in the measure DAX calculation. I am simply trying to get the difference in dollars (risk) that I am seeing by subtracting my (Shipped dollars) - (Forecast dollars) but for some reason my totals are coming out incorrectly.
I am thinking have something to do with my column set of 'MonthYear' not being able to be recongized in my measure and thinking I need to add something into the DAX for this but not sure what part of the text string I need to change.
Here is my Matrix:
Here is my current DAX calculation for 'Unmatched Risk' (difference):
Any help getting my totals to be correct would be greatly appreciated as I really hope someone can point out what I am doing wrong and why.
Thank-you for your time,
Brandon

Hi All,
Firstly FreemanZ thank you for your solution!
And @bbass82 ,According to the example data created by ourselves, your formula can run normally in our test environment, if you can provide relevant example data or pbix files, it can better help you solve the problem, looking forward to your reply!
Thank-you FreemanZ, this solution worked perfectly for what was needed in my matrix. I greatly appreciate your help and apologize for the delay in response.
