Load Image file from SQL Server database into Power BI

Hello All Experts,

I have a table in SQL Server which has Image URL column, when I put these in a visual the image does not show up.  How can I get the image to show up?

Hello @jajaAtPowerbi

In response to your question, since the data you provided comes from your database, I can't get it, so I created the following table

vjialongymsft_0-1702879193461.png

Select the slicer in Power Bi Desktop and drag the image ID into the slicer

vjialongymsft_1-1702879193463.png

vjialongymsft_2-1702879248320.png

Select “Get more visuals” on the visual page

vjialongymsft_3-1702879248322.png

Search “Simple image”

vjialongymsft_4-1702879332644.png

Click on the simple image you just added and drag the image URL into the visual

vjialongymsft_5-1702879365075.png

Then you can see the image displayed in the visual

You can follow my practice to see if there is a problem with your operation

Best Regards,

Jayleny

@Anonymous, thanks for you reply. I followed the same operation but did not get the image displyed.

I paste the image URL on brower and it will prompt up the download directly instead of displaying the image on the brower.

Cannot figure out why the image cannot be displayed.

Hi @jajaAtPowerbi

The URL of your image comes from your database and is not anonymous, so it will not be displayed in Power BI Desktop
