Line Fitting

Hi All!

I'm currently working on a project where I have calculated a linear regression fit on a set of data in Power BI.

My aim now is to perform multiple different linear fits on smaller groups within the data and compare the sum of the fitted y values for each group to the overall fitted sum of y values - if this makes sense!

I would like to end up with a the percentage change to the overall fit as a result of fitting smaller groups.

I wanted to ask if anyone has any similar projects they could point me towards or some tips to help me get started?

Sorry if the question isn't clear, let me know if you have any ideas!

This does not seem to be overly complex but... you have to show us at least a good example of what you want to really do. It's hard to give you any guidance and/or formulas without any information about the model and a good description of the outcome.
