Latest entry per document number
Hi all,
It is not often that I am about to give up on a DAX challenge but I just cannot get a breakthrough on this one.
In the example below I need the formula to take the LATEST entrynumber PER DocumentNumber. In the example I am showing I have manually inserted a couple of entry numbers and the output is exactly what I want. FYI an entrynumber is just a forth running number every time a transaction on a document number is made. So I know it will work if I just make sure that I always get the latest entry number for each documenter in my filter context (which is mainly based on period).
Thanks in advance!

Otherwise Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
