Do you want to get the values from the beginning of the year to the end of the previous month? If yes, you can create a measure as below:
YTD Funded = CALCULATE ( [What does YTD total need to be], FILTER ( ALLSELECTED ( 'Table' ), 'Table'[Date] >= DATE ( YEAR ( TODAY () ), 1, 1 ) && 'Table'[Date] <= EOMONTH ( TODAY (), -1 ) && 'Table'[Date] <= SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Date] ) ) )In addition, you can refer the following links to get it.

Helper VSo I have created a column which shows me the last day of each month. Now I'm trying to figure out how to use that to get the value from the last day of the previous month with an IF clause that gives a blank for January 2022. (since the previous month will be in 2021 and we do not have the data for it)
