Last 12 Months (LTM) Operating Profit Calculation Measure

Hello Experts,

Appreciate your help on creating a measure to calcuate the last twelve months (LTM) of core operating profit. Below is the table with data and how it is being calculated in Excel. FY = Fiscal Year from April to May and CY = Calendar Year from Jan to Dec.

Core operating profit for LTM, with period selected Sep 22 will be:

FY sep 21 value (9655) - FY mar 21 value(4800) = 5055 + FY sep 22 value (4585) = 9640

From the period selected month, it should pick up the fiscal year end month value. This value should be deducted from period selected less 12 months.

Can you please help me with this measure.

Sorry, if the logic is not clear. What i wish to accomplish is to get Core operating profit for the period September 2022, based on the following formula :

Value from Fiscal year end (march month) - value from September 2021 + value from September 2022.

based on the selection, the measure should calculate the operating profit for the selected period.

please do let me know, if this is still not clear and i will do a detailed write up.
