Hi,
I would like to arrange monthly target with different values which integrated/connected to product category that i have.
The power bi data as follows :
The point that i need you to help is :
- How to create a new graphic-line on table for the target which had different color with the other graphic-line so it could be generated.
The expected output should be as following pict in red-graphic-line :
*FYI, the red-graphic-line in attached file was manually drawn with paint
Hey! @pisca
I saw you're model, there are a lot of things that are missing in the model, for you to get the correct results.
Please include a date table in your model (best practice, this helps you with time intelligence calculations).
Once you have your date table, create relationship with your dates and also instead of month number in your targets table. (ss below). With the month number 1,2 Power BI doesn't know which month and year target you're referring to. It's just a number that is repeated 3 times in the table. It should be a date.
In case if you need help, please make this changes to the model and send it to me and I can look at it again.
Thanks,
Ankit
Sorry, I couldn't clearly understand with features in Power BI since technically, I'm not capable on it. That's why i need you help how to make the target-line on this graphic.
Would you mind to help by providing example as per your explanation?
Hi @pisca
I can help you, but please add dates in your targets table instead of numbers, and please send it again, I can resolve this.
Thanks,
Ankit
I've tried using this method
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Reporting-Performance-to-Target/m-p/1513995#M624603
Please share your actual pbix file, because I feel there is something missing here and it's not working because you've manually created a sample data.
Thanks,
Ankit
