I need to create a dashboard based on new deals and new clients. There is a date factor thus anyone viewing the dashboard should have the ability to view the new deals and new clients between a date range. The viewer should be able to select the from date and to date.
In short I will have to create a filter with a from date and to date.
Is this possible? How will I achieve this?

as long as the selected period is continous you just create a slicer based on date and change the slicer type to 'Between'
