Hello,
I'm trying to use DAX to create a new date column aggregating 7 date columns.
If Date1 is not blank then Date1.
If Date1 is blank then Date2.
If Date2 is blank then Date3.
On through all 7 date columns.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Power BI newbie, any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Try the COALESCE function which returns the first non-blank argument:
COALESCE ( Table[Date1], Table[Date2], Table[Date3] ... )

That worked! Thanks so much. COALESCE is new for me, but will be very helpful for other situations.
