How to turn off each column sorting in a table visualization?

Hi  @Omesh ,

 

Sorry, as far as I know, Power BI is not able to implement this feature for now, because the ability to sort by columns is one of the basic features of the table visual object, and fields are automatically sorted implicitly in the visual object.

If you want to keep the order of the original table, you can add an index column to the original table in PQ and then use the .

Or you can take a look at the link, create a blank button with the size of the table header and place it at the top of the table visualization, then just combine them and the user won't be able to choose the order:.

Hi  @Omesh ,

 

When you select the [ID] column -Column tools - Sort by column -- [Date], as long as you don't select the rest of the column headers in Visual, then Visual will automatically sort by [Date].

Are you referring to a time when you already have a sorting rule in place that doesn't affect the previous sorting rule, even if you select the column headings for Visual? If it doesn't meet your expected results, you can express the results as a picture and we can help you better!

@Omesh , Table visual sort on at least one column. when click on the header of another column, it will sort on that

Yes correct, but I'd like to implement sorting for one column and restrict sorting for others column.
