HR METRICS - Sum FTE Headcount to get monthly running Total

Hi,

I have used the below measure to calculate my monthly rolling headcount (heads in the organisation) - however I was wondering if there is a way I can alter the DAX Formula to create a sum of our FTE Headcount?

Employee First Name	Employee Start Date	Employee Last Day of Employment	Employee FTE
A	01/01/2022		0.57
B	02/02/2022	04/02/2022	1.00

Current Employees =

CALCULATE( 
COUNTX(

For context - my date tables currently do not have an active relationship to the data set
