As you see above the values for the same contract / catagory I am analyzing is the same but the total is right given the year (2020). I am thinking that the contract (the catagory) I am analyzing despite the name being different given the specific years (2018, 2019 etc) they are equal. Is there any way to get rid of these duplicates ??
can you show your data model and which table each of the columns are coming from?
@cdawidow ,
As started on previous topic, it is because of data and join between tables.
If join is by concatenated field (prdlin & " " & prodno), you can see that you have two rows matching that criteria.
If 2018/19 is redundant you can filter data in power query to only display contract which contains text "2019/20".
Other option is to have another (new) column in sales table based on which you will separate duplicated amount.
Cheers,
Nemanja
Ya I just did that, included a filter and it was easy enough! Thanks for your help !
