Hi all,
Im trying to solve a formula for counting an items negative impact on a margin target.
Lets say i have a margin target for a month on 12% and have the folling sales that month:
Item | Revenue | Margin |
Banana | 85456 | 8% |
Apple | 54566 | 6% |
Orange | 32400 | 2% |
Potato | 42065 | 14% |
Tomato | 467844 | 19% |
Cucumber | 26488 | 13% |
How can i check which item affected the total margin most negatively?
what do you mean exactly by the most negative impact?
In your example would it be Orange because it has the biggest negative difference vs the target, or e.g. Banana because it has the biggest absolute gap vs target (just as en example, I didn't check the numbers)?
