Forecast using Line Chart - Error - Data is too irregular

I have created a simple line chart with 'Date' in x-axis and TOTAL Sales for last 2 years in Y-axis. And then  i tried to add a forecasting but i got error as below. Kindly help.

Right, that can happen if you have gaps in your data. What does your data look like?
