Finding percentile by using DAX Query

Hi,

Q: Finding Percentile of a particular column by creating a calculated column using DAX?

Here I'm Considering a Sample Data source to find percentile.

Please refer Sample PBIX file here

I tried in this way

dax.PNG

In the above Image Calculated column name is "Percentile"

Problem: When I'm trying to execute the above DAX query an error is occuring i.,e "There's not enough memory to complete the execution"   even though it is a small size file

Note: Size of source(Excel file) : 1669KB

          Size of PBIX file               :674 KB

Can anyone please help me with the DAX queries as solutions and also please mention if any alternative solutions are there for this.

Awaiting for your responses.

Thanks in advance!

Percentile =
VAR __n = SAMPLE2[ITEM_NAME]
VAR __t = SAMPLE2[ITEM_CODE]
RETURN
    DIVIDE (
        COUNTROWS( FILTER( SAMPLE2, SAMPLE2[ITEM_NAME] = __n && SAMPLE2[ITEM_CODE] <= __t ) ),
        COUNTROWS( FILTER( SAMPLE2, SAMPLE2[ITEM_NAME] = __n ) )
    )

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!
