Filter on Report surface

Hi

I am making an attendance monitor for a school that wants to display students who have been absent on a Friday afternoon AND Monday morning.  Thesere the normal first and last days of the school week but there are some instances where the school week varies ie Thursday PM and Tuesday AM for example so these need to be selectable from a drop down menu. I have created this and it works

I have extracted the attendance data and placed it in a table and made some slicers that allow me to enter the attandance date range and the ability to select the appropriate day and  time.

However the data displayed shows people who have been absent Friday PM but not Monday AM and vice versa.

I am looking to implement AND logic to the drop down multiple select filter so that the only pupils that are displayed must meet both criteria and these criteria need to be editable so I cannot hard code it into the underlying data table.

I have looked on line and can find nothing that relates to this idea.  I think it must be available as it is the sort of functionality that I acn see being useful in a number of  other contexts.
