Filter Working Differently in 2 Matrix

Hi,

Anyone can help me on this.

I'm trying to do a countrows on customers with sales in the current year(selected date) but using the measure I created in 2 different matrix where in

matrix1 date is in the rows it is still counting the one with 0 sale in the total section but in

matrix2 where date is in the column it is correctly showing the count in the total section for the 0 sale record in which should show as blank since it is 0 sale.

 

here is the dax that I used and the matrix1 above and matrix2 below in the screenshot.

 

aaaTest_CurrFYActive =
//Getting the active customers in CurrFY (eg. 2022)
VAR FY_Sales = ADDCOLUMNS(VALUES('Customer'[CustomerKey]),"@Last12",[Sales Actual])
VAR Filtered_FY = FILTER(FY_Sales,[@Last12] <> 0 )
RETURN
COUNTROWS(Filtered_FY)

    What is the expected result for these two matrix?

    Please share some sample data so that we could reproduce the scenario.

      Hi Anonymous ,

       

      The data is source from a power bi dataset and so I'm not sure if the data can be downloaded to a pbix you can try to use this PBIX Link if its working.

       

      But the scenario would be when sales column is <> 0 then it will show as 1 in aaaTest_CurrFYActive measure

      however as you can see in the upper matrix of the screenshot where the date was in the row value it is counting 0 sales and having the value of 1 in aaaTest_CurrFYActive measure/column matrix.

      but when the date is in the column value it is counting the 0 sales correctly and there is no value showing for the aaaTest_CurrFYActive measure/column matrix
