Field Parameters AND (Conditional Formatting OR Influencer Visual)

Hello 😃 I am really thrilled by the new field parameter feature 😃 But, there are some things I lack compared to a more traditional approach using calculation, for example via numeric parameters....

    Hi Schmidtmayer ,

    For your first problem, Yes. The conditional formatting option will not display when you apply the field parameter in Values field... And I'm afraid that there is no other method to make conditional formatting....

    For the second problem, could you please provide the related screenshot with error message? How did you set your influencer visual? If the visual involves the fields from multiple tables, please provide the relationship info if any relationship created.

Hello Schmidtmayer ,
It is possible to do conditional formatting based on field parameter. For example I have field parameter full of measures. I created a new measure for conditional formatting based on field parameter table created: 

Conditional Formatting =
SWITCH(
SELECTEDVALUE( 'Field parameter'[Field parameter Fields] ),
" 'Measures'[Sales Revenue] ", 'Measures'[Sales Revenue] )

Now you can select your column, line or icon color based on a measure you just created. You just go on "format your visual" - page and there you have different options for formatting your visual. I hope this helps someone if not you directly.
