Dynamically change column name

Hi

I have created a table with a column being lookup which is coming from the data. However, i want the column name to be dynamic instead of showing lookup.

E.g if in the filters i have selected invoice number i want the name to be invoice id

if in the filters i have selected expense it should be expense id

Hi @homelander123

Did lbendlin 's and dharmendars007's methods solve your problem? If yes, could you please mark them as solutions? This will help more users who are facing the same or similar difficulties. Thank you!

If "invoice number" and "expense" are in the same column, I'm afraid PowerBI can't achieve this effect so far. But I think your idea makes sense. I found an idea that meets similar needs as yours, and you can vote for it to help make it happen as soon as possible.

Hopefully this will be possible in a future release.

If you still have questions, please feel free to ask me.

Best Regards,
Yulia Xu

Hello @homelander123 ,

You have to use Filed Parameters in combination with SelectedValue() Measure to get your logic working..

If you find this helpful , please mark it as solution which will be helpful for others and Your Kudos/Likes 👍 are much appreciated!
