Dear all,
I am looking for a Dynamic Price Range which puts prices of a different products into a range of a category. For example I have a table like that :
Category | Product | Price |
A | Pice 1 | 10 |
A | Pice 2 | 800 |
B | Pice 3 | 30 |
B | Pice 4 | 40 |
A | Pice 5 | 50 |
B | Pice 6 | 20 |
C | Pice 7 | 1000 |
I am looking for an measure which puts my prices of products into different quantiles. the lowest 25% range, 26%-50% range,51%-75% and higest price range of 76%-100% of the higest prices. First the prices should be taken into these ranges over all products, then if I filter the distribution should only contain each price distribution of the category and subcateroy. Of course the data above is just an example as I have much more data. I want to avoid to put the price into an new column with manual price categories not depending on a dynamic distribution.
Thank you all!
