    Hi swolfe2 

    I would recommend this:

    VAR CurrentValue = SELECTEDMEASURE()
VAR AbsValue = ABS ( CurrentValue )
RETURN
    IF (
        AbsValue >= 1000000,
        "$#,0,,. M;($#,0,,.) M",
        "$#,##0;($#,##0)"
    )

    This makes use of the "<positive format>;<negative format>" structure.
