Dynamic DATE filter

Hi All,

say like i have a date table it has 2 dates.
start date and end date.

i need to select both start dates and end dates in the report.

if i select start date, end date filter should automatically should filter as per start date selection without manually selecting it.

how can we do that? is it possible ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

If I am right you need something like explained below:

Consider the following input data:

Now I create 2 slicers at the top of the report page for Start date  and  End date:

Now what I understand based on reading your requirement above is; if I select anything in my Start date slicer, the selection should reflect in the End date slicer as well along with the visual on the report page.

To achieve this you need to make sure your Edit Interactions for Start date slicer are set-up correctly.

When you switch ON interactions by selecting Start date slicer, you will see the following:

End Date filtering is disabled. Just select the filter icon for end date slicer:

Now this will work the way you want. If you seect anything in Start date slicer, it will reflect the relevant values in End date slicer as well.

Let me know if this is what was required. If not then add more details to your question.
