Duplicates when using SUM measure

Hi everyone, I am trying to create a measure that calculates the sum of "Allocation Hours" divided by SUM of "Hours worked" (very simple measure) to get an allocation vs actuals percentage. I noticed that if i put SUM(Allocations[Allocation Hours]) in a measure, it duplicates the data over and over again. In the picture posted below, the SUM of allocation hours should be 104.28K (when just added to a card and not a measure) but when added to a measure and applying a SUM function, all of a sudden the "Allocation Hours" comes out to 1616.66 Billion. Does anyone have any idea whats causing this? At first i thought it might be a relationship but this is happening even without brining in data from other tables. The same thing occurs if i do a SUM of the hours worked. Thank you all in advance for any help or suggestions. Appologies for the poor artwork!PBI Duplicate 3.JPG

Which field are you passing to the Allocation Hours card? Also, could you share a picture of the Allocations table?

Well I found out why it was duplicating, I must have calculated it as a column instead of a measure so it was calculating the sum on a row level and then adding up all of the totals (so duplicating hundreds of times). I feel silly now, but still new to PBI so this is a good learning moment! Thank you for the quick reply.
