Display result without sum, count, or anything else

I created a new column and used the lookupvalue function to find the desired result.  When I look at the data it is populating the column correctly for each row but when I try and place the value in my Matrix Vis, it automatically wants to sum or count the whole of the column.  I just want to retrieve and display the individual result. 

Is this a formatting issue or do I have to create another measure off of the new column measure?

In the table view highlight the new calculated column and then check the Don't Summarize box in the Ribbon
