Default Filtered Values
We have managers that want to automatically filter their dashboard to only the departments they are responsible for. They need to be able to look at any department.
Model
I want to use the UserPrinciple() against the email in User Table to get a list of departments she is responsible for and set that as her default filter settings each time she comes to the dashboard. We are hosting this on-premise.
Do you have a field in the Departments table to indicate who the Manager is? In any case, a simpler way to go would be to have them create a Personal Bookmark in the published report. Do it one time, then it will default to that view each time they return.

If this works for you, please mark it as the solution. Kudos are appreciated too. Please let me know if not.
