We have managers that want to automatically filter their dashboard to only the departments they are responsible for. They need to be able to look at any department.
Model
I want to use the UserPrinciple() against the email in User Table to get a list of departments she is responsible for and set that as her default filter settings each time she comes to the dashboard. We are hosting this on-premise.

Do you have a field in the Departments table to indicate who the Manager is? In any case, a simpler way to go would be to have them create a Personal Bookmark in the published report. Do it one time, then it will default to that view each time they return.
